You guys probably have heard, but if you didn't we made the move to Chicago December 1st! I have always wanted to move back to Chicago, since the move to Alabama when I was younger. I guess I had to grow up, find the love of my life, marry him, and bring him with me! I did all those things, so here we are livin that city life! (As I'm typing this there's snow falling on the ground, eek!)
This was our first engagement session in downtown Chicago and it was absolutely perfect! We actually did this session when we went to visit Chicago to check out apartments in October. Enough about us though, the real stars are Melissa and Anil! Melissa is Zach's cousin and Anil's the lucky man that got her. They actually helped Zach set up his proposal to me in Chicago last December, so they have a special place in our hearts. When they got engaged I just knew I wanted to capture their sweet love like they did for us! Melissa heard we were visiting and contacted us right away to shoot their engagement session and of course we were down. She said she wanted an urban feel and I'm so glad she did. We hit up the bridges downtown, took some fun shots with the L train, saw the beautiful skyline at the Lake Michigan lakefront, drove to the Chicago Theatre sign, and ended our night in Wicker Park. Chicago has endless photo locations, I'm drooling! So enjoy our first Chicago engagement session, it's the first of many more to come! Also, congrats to Melissa and Anil, we are so so excited for you guys ♥️
