Pat and Katie’s wedding took place at The MillCreek Wilde in Michigan. It is such a beautiful location, they had super cute spaces for getting ready and great photo opportunities. It had a cool barn as well as lots of outside space. The ceremony was set up outside with a beautiful boho floral installation by Marco Alexondra and there was even a fire pit which was super fun!

We met Pat and Katie through photographing Pat’s sister Shannon who was the first bride that we met in Chicago. Such a fun group of people we absolutely love working with! Pat and Katie were so sweet and chill throughout the whole process even with covid complications and venue changes. They are just super genuine and kind people that are so awesome to hang out with!

It was so much fun shooting this wedding because firstly, we just love the couple and all of their friends and family. And secondly, they have amazing taste! The colors were so fall, burgundy, creams, and greens and the floral installations were stunning! They were boho with pampas grass and had unique macrame details throughout, Marco did an amazing job. And thirdly the location was so gorgeous! An intimate spot, with spaces for the ceremony and after party, tucked away amongst the trees of Michigan. The perfect backdrop for a fall wedding!
