Hi friends, I’m Marci!
I would absolutely love to be your photographer. I'm here for the people who care more about the moment than making everything look perfect. The ones who dance in the kitchen, laugh until their stomach hurts, and know the best memories are usually the ones you never planned for.
I photograph the messy, beautiful, wildly imperfect seasons of life! The tiny baby feet, belly laughs, wild dance moves, the quiet chaos, and all the little things you'll miss someday. I find the ordinary, beautiful.
I also create Home Movies with vintage-style digital cameras you can rent, so your favorite people can capture the happy tears, inside jokes, dance floor moves, and quiet in-between moments from their own perspective. That magical trip you planned and want to treasure forever? I’ve got you.
Whether I'm taking the photos or helping you make a Home Movie, my goal is simple: to preserve the season you’re in exactly as it feels, so years from now you can step right back into it.

Family, Mommy & Me, & Maternity Sessions
These sessions are designed to be slow, patient, and centered around connection rather than perfection. I take a child-led approach that allows space for movement, emotion, and real moments to unfold naturally. No rushing, no image limits, and no pressure to perform. I will direct you into the natural smiles and snuggles.
All sessions include professional editing, delivery through an online viewing gallery with 50 or more images, and a print release.

Fall Chicago Sessions
Each fall, I travel back to Chicago for a limited weekend of family and couple sessions. These sessions are offered once per year and are perfect for returning clients or families who want timeless, seasonal photos in the city. This year sessions will be held in Evanston at the beautiful lighthouse.

A nostalgic, video rental experience designed to capture your day from the people who lived it.
I provide video cameras for your guests, wedding party, and you to use throughout your wedding or trip, capturing the real, in-between moments as they naturally unfold.
The laughter, the chaos, the quiet hugs, the dance floor energy. The moments that don’t always make it into photos, but end up meaning everything later. All taken by your people.
Afterward, all footage is carefully edited into a home movie that feels like those VHS tapes your parents had of you growing up or dance parties you filmed with your bestie. The perfectly imperfect cuts for in the moment feels. These movies are something you’ll actually sit down and watch years from now. My cameras are digital, but they look and feel like the home movie cameras we grew up with. Think early 2000s camcorder nostalgia, without the hassle of film or tapes.
